I have never been so grateful for Bob's excellent motorcycle skills. People here drive on the left side of the road, and there are seemingly no traffic laws whatsoever. Seriously, anything goes here. But he was a superstar. I took some video that I intend to post, but we're having trouble posting any video at this point; we're hoping to figure that out soon.
The ride up the mountain was a blast, and we stopped along the way to do a little jungle hiking at a national park complete with caves and waterfalls. The temple itself was beautiful and provided an amazing view of Chiang Mai below.
It also had all manner of offerings available: candles, incense, lotus flowers, coins, etc. We figured we'd cover all the bases just to be safe.
